Maybe you can switch the pendant onto a ribbon or string necklace. You can also try painting the necklace and pendant ;or future ones) with clear nail polish topcoat to prevent it from losing the paint/tarnish.

My son is obsessed with my jewelry, so I gave him some Mardi Gras-style necklaces I had hanging in my closet. :silly: He loves them.

We stick with the cheap ones that are long enough for her to put on alone

I like to get the party pack ones so if one gets lost we have more! For example I bought a pack of 4 Rapunzel necklaces for $3 at Wal-Mart - DD loves them!

My LO is a jewelry-a-holic and wears necklaces A LOT. Simple ones are super easy to make, but we’ve also found really cute ones, sort of similar to the one you posted at Carters, Claire’s/Icing, Jo-Anne fabrics, Target ($1 spot), Michaels crafts, etc.

I bought a cupcake necklace from H&M (plastic pendant on a painted metal bead chain). It was on sale and I figured DD would get a kick out of it for a few minutes. Well, she hasn't taken it off since I gave it to her! We convinced her to not bathe or sleep with it on, but she actually remembers (unlike anything else we've gotten her, ever).

The chain is getting pretty frayed and I'm worried about her skin getting irritated - I didn't think she'd still be wearing it! Does your LO wear a necklace (that's not used for teething)? Where did you get it?

Thanks!
