My LO had a rough couple nights a few weeks ago with molars coming in. My husband stayed up with him in my LO's room and they alternated between reading stories, rocking, and then finally my husband got desperate and let him watch an episode of Super Why on his phone. Another night I read him a good 10 books before he would finally allow me to rock him a little. The molars are TOUGH!

we never bring them out of the room. with olive i rock her a little bit and then put her back in the crib and keep my hand on her back until she falls asleep.

with charlie, if you lay next to him he will fall back asleep.

but i never really noticed any problems with teething with both kids!

If she's just hanging out in bed, or fake crying, we let her sort it out by herself. If she's worked up (wakings are rare, so it's usually this) we either bring her to bed with us or get her some water/milk, rock a bit, and put her back down. If she's really awake we might read some books in her room.

My son's been battling a cold plus the most recent ear infection and the last couple of nights have been rough.

When we have a wakeup in the night, in some cases, we will bring him into the living room, with the lights still off, but that's because we don't currently have a place to sit in is bedroom, other than the bed. Not ideal, as I agree with THOU and prefer not to bring him out of his bedroom.

We don't ever take her out of bed. Occasionally we will pick her up for a hug but then she goes back in bed. We stay with her until she falls asleep. If it's really bad feh comes to bed with us.

How do you handle toddler night wakings? Normally we don't face much of this, butC is getting 2-yr-molars and is a wreck. No amount of rocking/soothing seems to help. Only solution we have found so far is snuggle time on the. Couch watching sport center with Mr. Confetti (listening to C now shouting "go bengals" at the Tv...somehow I have a rabid football fan at 17months). After 20 mins of couch snuggles up front, he gets bonus milk and will go back to sleep...sometimes.
