I'm pretty sure. He's usually easy to coax back into bed, but sometimes he climbs into bed with us and cuddles for a bit. Later that day or week he'll talk about monsters in his room, so I think that's what he's dreaming about.

I think we are going through the same thing. DD is 31 months old and has woken up on random nights screaming and obviously bothered by something. Some nights just going in and covering her with her blanket is enough. On one occasion I've had to lay down with her. Hoping it's a stage And that your nights get easier!

Does your toddler have nightmares? Do they tell you about them?

C is 27 months, an ok, not great sleeper in general, but lately I think she's been having nightmares. It's so sad, she wakes up screaming and crying, but as soon as one of us goes into her room, she calms down, so I don't believe it's night terrors. She will go back to sleep with Dh or me in the bed with her but sometimes will whimper or cry out in her sleep a few more times in the night.

So, I think it's nightmares, but who knows. She's also still working on two molars but that doesn't usually cause the scared sounding scream. She's very verbal but never tells us what's wrong when it happens. It seems to happen on good days when nothing bad happens, or on not so great days when she's had a fall, or I've lost my temper and yelled at her.

It's so sad. Anyone else?
