I avoid dressing him in his "better" clothes. They usually do some sort of art project that stain the clothes (sometimes bad, sometimes not) so I try to just dress him in regular knits with patterns and things that I wouldn't mind getting dirty/stained. I save his "good" clothes for the weekends/church.

My son wears a lot of blue/white striped tees and sweaters. I keep the nicer ones for home/weekend because he will invariably spill spaghetti or paint on them.

I send her to preschool in inexpensive things that I don't mind getting ruined. The paints are left out for the kids to use at any time they want, and they play outside for an hour every morning, so something almost always comes home dirty or stained.

I recently learned that I have to avoid a pair of hand me down jeans. LO has trouble walking in them, so he won't be wearing those for awhile. Otherwise, he's typically in a warm long sleeve onesie with pants and socks. Today, he's rocking the cutest skinny jeans from Carter's. It's the pair of jeans that he can wear and walk around in.

When my daughter is with her grandmother, I avoid any difficult clothing, and anything that I especially love. I mostly put her in dark colored things that I don't mind getting stained, since I figure that no one cares as much as I do.

My son wears the same thing every day, pull on pants that are either fleece or jersey lined, with either a long sleeved tee or polo.

We have daycare clothes and only a few non-daycare, weekend outfits! For LMW all her daycare clothes are long sleeved onesies, some kind of long pants, and a sweatshirt.

When she was younger I liked things that would stay tucked in. Now, I like the dresses and leggings that are easy to put on.

When DS was in preschool I avoided any pants that he had trouble getting on or off, or that required a belt. Since he was still early in his potty training, I didn't want him to have too much trouble.

I avoid anything pastel colored and stuff like overalls that require a lot of snapping!
