We use these. The girl mittens don't have the reinforced rubber, so we buy the boys ones! Great for everything except playing in the snow!

What kind of mittens does your active toddler wear at the playground? Last winter she just wore some basic knit/ lined ones most of the time, and we had a pair of bulkier waterproof ones for snow days.

This year she will be almost 2.5 and loves to climb anything and everything. I feel like the regular knit or fleece ones will be too slippery when she is climbing ladders and things like that. Are there fleecy mittens with grippy hands? I'm worried more for the cold but not bitter cold days when we will actually be outside for longer, so they don't have to be the very warmest. I just don't want her hands slipping off the ladder and her falling.
