My daughter about 60% of the time falls asleep on our living room floor and we move her. We are doing out best to get her back to sleep in her bed, but it's a marathon.

Kids are weird - if they're into it, probably won't hurt them.

@Mrs. Lion: My daughter does this too, every single night!! She just prefers the hardwood floor, I guess.

My DS went thru a phase where he slept in the hallway on wood floors - I would pick him up and move him though because I figured he would wake up at 4am when he heard DH get in the shower - kids are crazy!

We moved lo to a floor bed at 18 months. It took him about 2 weeks to start going to sleep in the bed instead of random places around the room, but for the last month or so he gets out of bed after I tuck him in and falls asleep with his lovey blanket by the door. He doesn't cry or anything...but we have to go in and move him once he is asleep.

Does anyone else's lo do this? It isn't really a big deal, except if we forget to move him he wakes up before he should. It just seems odd. Who wants to sleep on the cold hardwood floor when there's a comfy bed to sleep in??
