@lizzywiz: She's 26 months. I didn't think about her hair changing. That definitely could be part of it! Makes me feel better anyway :)

How old? this happened to my LO between 18-24 months. She would have huge clumps of her own hair in her hand. At one point daycare taped it to colored paper to show the huge amount. But then it just stopped. I don't know if she stopped pulling so hard or her hair changed. She also didn't/doesn't have much, so it is hard to pinpoint the switch from 'baby' hair to 'real' hair and I wondered if it was part of that transition.

LO has always had a habit of twirling her hair whenever she is sleepy or nervous. However, lately I'll go get her from her room in the mornings and there are big clumps of hair all over her and her bed. Huge! And she doesn't have a ton of hair to spare in the first place ;). She's usually happy and playing when I get her, so I'm not sure why she does it. Has anyone else dealt with this? Any ideas for how to get her to stop?
