We got Toms Rainboots on sale...they were like $25?! Easy to slide on and she loves them....I wasn't willing to pay a lot of money like I did on her snow boots (nothing worse than cold feet!) because like @Grace: said it's just water and the weather is warm out. But so far they've kept her feet dry and she has a blast splashing in he puddles. She is obsessed with her "lellow!!!" boots.

Hunters! I'm in the Pacific Northwest and we get a lot of rain so we need serious rainboots all year long.

My daughter has Hatley boots and we both love them...she always want to wear them, rain or shine. She's. Ever really worn them in deep mud, so I can't speak to that issue. They do run big.

We have super cute Hatleys and we've never had a problem with them coming off. But we are not in heavy duty rain, LO mostly wears them when it's wet out and stays on concrete or in our yard:)

I ordered hers from Zappos, and I remember reading in the reviews that they run HUGE and they totally do. At least a full size off, just fyi. I had ordered LO a size 6, and they were too big even though she was wearing 6 in everything else, and they didn't start to get easy for her to walk in until she had moved up to a 6.5. Now she is in a 7 in other shoes but her Hatleys fit great in a 6.

I just have cheapy rubber boots from target and no problems yet. But even so, it's just mud and water, so I'm not that worried about it. That's why we have a spare change of clothes.

My little guy loves his hunter rain boots. They've never come off when he was running around. They seem wider than some other brands we've tried, which is good because he has wide feet.

We have and love bogs, but we have the winter ones so the are fleece lined inside and prob too warm for summer. They have never come off mid puddle but if he jumps hard, the water goes in the top of the boot.

I'm curious too- especially since LOs sorel winter boots came off in the swing today (as I was pulling her out, so my fault, but still, it has the velcro straps and everything).

So far we have been wearing winter boots on rainy days.

I'm looking into getting my son some new rain boots for this mucky, wet New England spring. He had some baby Bogs last year that I loved, but has clearly outgrown.

Bogs? Hatleys? Kamiks? I'm really open to any suggestions. My only concern with the pull-on ones that don't have some sort of cinching device (like the velcro on Bogs) is that he'll get caught in a mid puddle and they'll just pop right off. Is that a legit concern? Or does that not really happen? Haha - the things you worry about when you're a mom.

Thanks all!
