There was definitely a separately anxiety phase around 20 months for us. She became very aware when we left her and bedtime (which was always so easy) would be sad for her. It does end :)

oh my gosh! us too! DD is almost 21 months and it has kicked into high gear the past few days. Tonight, she wouldn't let me put her in her crib and she's been very reluctantly going to the kids center at the gym where she used to just be like "peace out lady" as soon as we arrived.

My DD is 21 months old and has recently been wanting to be with me ALL the time. She freaks out if she can't find me and yells for Mommy. Even sometimes when she is with grandma (who is one of her favorite people) while my husband and I are at work. Is this normal in the toddler years? Any suggestions or is it just another stage that will fade away?
