Stride Rite, Saucony, and New Balance have been the best brands for my boys. My 3 year old still needs extra wide, but my 6 year old only needs W now.

Mini melissas were all I could get my cute girl's small chubby feet into. I would buy them second hand or new if I had to. They have great resale value which can help justify the purchase. Also, if its the only thing the girl can wear, then you just have to swallow the cost and buy them. Plus, they are so darn cute.

Stride Rite XXW. Our first foster baby had the tallest feet and those were the only things we could get on him.

My kids all have wide, chubby feet. These OshKosh shoes have a wide toebox so they don't squeeze the toes, and they last forever. I've found them at Marshalls for $12-$15.

I didn’t think they’d work from the look of them, but my 18 month old’s cutie chubby feet fit perfectly into kid’s converse sneakers. Bonus—they are soooo easy to get on!

We had great luck with the Tsukihoshi brand with my fat footed son (he's now 7 so I miss that foot chub!). We found these at a local shoe store but after we knew his size, we would just order the next size up on Amazon. Nordstrom carries this line as well sometimes. I think they may only offer sneaker style shoes so perhaps not very useful if you are looking for something dressier.

Lo is 13m - I haven’t bothered much with shoes yet as she’s not walking alone yet and it’s still hot. But she needs some now. I’ve tried several pair that I can’t get over her foot chub! She has dropped a lot of chub elsewhere already being mobile but the feet seem to be staying that way

She has one pair of pedipeds that are 6-12m size that fit in length but even as a Mary Jane style seem tight across the top. Not sure how to find a shoe that is “taller” but not longer or wider if that makes sense. Ideas welcome thanks!
