We have the onaroo one (teach me time?) and introduced it shortly after two. It worked great for us! I do have a fairly compliant LO which I think is helpful. The clock allowed me to actually work out consistently because I could count on when LO would need me in the morning!

She got one for her birthday, but we haven't used it yet. I'm saving it for now, because she's understanding that she needs to stay in her bed...but I'm a little hesitant to return it just in case.

My DS is almost 3 and thinks the clock is a toy. He played with it and seemed to love it when I brught it home, when time came to use it he refused to have it in his room, claiming it scared him. Now the kids use it as a light in their play tent. So total fail for us but I will consider reintroducing it in a few months.

Yep - My Tot Clock. LO wakes sometimes at 5:45am and just lays there til the clock turns yellow at 6:30. Life-changing. Only started working around when she turned 2.

Did not really work for me. LO totally understood the concept, but just would tantrum and scream if he was awake before it was green. And honestly, it was not good for me--I would get so angry if he wasn't obeying the rule, because I KNEW he understood. Was easier for me to just go get him.

Best thing that worked--blackout curtains.

Jojogirl suggested the My Tot Clock to me and it's freaking genius. Took E about a week to get it, but now she does. She loves that it plays music (she always asks for songs) and she dances around and claps to the morning song. She knows that blue=bedtime and yellow=mom/dad time. She plays happily in her room in the mornings until it turns yellow. But if i wait too long to go get her, she'll start to cry. I think it really gave her some parameters for what sleep time is/isn't.

Most nights, though, the clock goes off and sings its nighttime song and E goes, "no blue! no nigh-nigh!" but she goes down w/o a fight. She grasps that once it's blue, it's bedtime, and we will see her in the morning

So - I have heard two people recently mention these.

Looking for reviews and or experience/advice on them.

DD is 2 now...we are moving her to her Big Girl room and a toddler bed in October. I am thinking this may be a good tool to utilize in the transition. She sleeps well now (7pm-between 6 and 7am) but has just recently started in the morning (and unfortunately sometimes overnight) stirring and saying "all done night night"...so I think she is maybe at a point where she could understand the concept?

TIA!
