I've noticed some laces types are fine and others are annoying. He has Sperry shoes with laces that are always coming untied. The laces are sort of round? His Converse have flat laces (like the ones in your photo!) and they stay tied well. The kind of shoe that slips on/off. I'd personally avoid real laces, but with a newborn I don't have the time/inclination to spend a long time tying/untying my toddler's shoes. On the up-side, they'd be a good solution for the toddler who won't keep her shoes on!</p> <p>Edit: having looked at their website I'm amending my original statement.
