For some reason my daughter will wear leggings if and only if we call them jeggings. They cannot be referred to as pants. If I accidentally call them pants I must start over with another article of clothing and refer to them only as jeggings.</p> <p>If it's about modesty you might want to try bloomers. LO wore those in the summer because she is all about looking 'perfect.' Bloomers are acceptable but shorts and pants that you can see are not. It is still cold in the AM, around 50, but by the time they head outside its 70, and she could wear a blanket for the 5 minute car ride. All she wears are soft stretchy cotton leggings. She is not used to getting dressed in "day" clothes, and today she refused to get "dressed", and she went to preschool in a nightgown and sweatshirt, and the moment we got to school she pulled off her pants (the high is 70 today so weather isnt too bad - but for school she really needs to wear bottoms). </p> <p>Have you seen similarly dressed kids before or is this way out of the norm? Will this get better on its own or do I need to keep forcing the pants? She normally wears a dress, and at home the pants are optional... please help! </p>
