Up until last week she was taking around 6oz. of milk, but then she suddenly just started dropping ounces. Last night she only drank 3 ounces! LO is 21 months in a couple of days. I think it's a comfort and relaxation thing for him since he never really got to using pacifiers. My 22 month old still gets at least 2 a day... More on the weekends because we cave in. He was doing good, then we regressed.... I'm hoping in the next few months we can drop it. Now that he is talking more he is always asking for it!!</p> <p>The morning bottle is the one I can't imagine dropping, he will freak. I commented on your LO's biting problem a little while ago because my nov/12 has a biting problem.<br /> My Dragon still takes the bottle. He get his baba in the morning and at bedtime just like your baby. He gets his am baba in a straw cup and pm baba in a bottle. I tried and failed the straw cup for his pm bottle. Must be a comfort thing. If he eats most of his dinner, I skip his pm baba and he doesn't complain. We really started with a night time bottle when we weaned from BF at 18 months. Slowly she got over the bottle and went to a sippy cup(she was using them during the day anyways). We had successfully weaned around a year for a month or so, but then we travelled and she got sick and wanted her "baba" again, so I mistakingly gave it back to her and now she is addicted. I am terrified to take it away now!</p> <p>any other late bottle weaning toddlers out there?? what age did you take the bottle away forever? how did it go? </p>
