I agree with pps, if it was just once without a fever I wouldn't worry. E sometimes throws up when he eats too much, too fast, or eats something that doesn't agree with him, or just for no reason :(

I just had to laugh a little at this because my 2 year old seems to throw up all the time (carsickness, any time she has a fever, almost any time she has a cold, and last night simply because she drank too much water too quickly). If yours doesn't have a fever and she is acting normal, then she is probably fine.

I don't worry about a 1x thing. Does she have a cold or congested or anything? My lo has thrown up before from an ear infection and that was the main sign that something was really off with her

I wouldn't worry about it. My toddler has only ever thrown up twice, both times were random one-offs (I know that I'm so lucky about this, in fact I'm scared to talk about it because I feel like it's going to bring a stomach virus curse down on my head). We've never done anything differently with his diet the next day or anything, as long as he seems like he's feeling ok. She probably just ate something that disagreed with her - for my son, one time I think he ate too much yogurt.

Last night my daughter woke up because the baby was screaming. She was whiny in her bed and didn't go back to sleep, this lasted about a half hour. As I was walking in her room to try to soothe her again, she coughed once and threw up. Once we cleaned her up
She was fine....jumping in the bed, asking to watch tv, eat and drink water. We gave her a cracker and some water. She's been fine since. She's 2.5 and never thrown up. Do you think it's a bug? Something she ate or drank? Her new thing is drinking bath water. We'll stick to the BRAT. Diet today and not send her to daycare. Just wondering if the rest of us will catch it. I'm totally phobic and my husband had to do all the dirty work last night. We have a 7 week old and I'm petrified he'll get it too
