<description>&#60;p&#62;YES. The whining stage was horrible. Actually what I&#34;m saying. My 3 year old still whines from time to time and it drives me nuts. I completely 100% ignore him when he whines and tell him that I'm not listening to him if he whines to use his words. He's gotten a lot better about it. He still whines when he's sick but I let it go depending on how bad he feels.

<description>&#60;p&#62;Lately my 14 m.o LO will just whine for things. I'll ask her, &#34;Do you want more?&#34; or ask what item she wants. Instead of saying yes, nodding her head, she'll just go &#34;ugnnh!!!&#34; I feel like anytime she wants something, it'll just be an urgent whine. Is this normal/usual? How can i teach her to give me a real response than just a whine?
