I too was looking for a Toms substitute (like the way they look...but they fit horribly on me) and stumbled on a pair of Keds Crashback at my Nordstrom Rack! I :heart: them and they are so comfy that I bought another pair in a different color! I feel like they look nice when you are looking for tennis shoe comfort without the tennis shoe look. It does take approx. two wears to break in/soften up the heel though. But once they are broken in they are amazing! </p> <p>I do have to say if I was going on an ATV I would probably wear normal tennis/athletic shoes though! I've found Nike to run fairly narrow as well. Despite that, I still own a couple pairs of Nike Frees. I've worn both with normal shorts and a more casual top. Fitted T, printed tank top, ect. It's a "mom" outfit for sure, but for touring i think that's okay! I love my Nike Flex tennis shoes, they are light, comfortable, and if you get the right style looks good with shorts/jeans/ect. I bought a pair of toms on recommendation and LOVE them. I wore them to death - they're filthy - and they fit so well without any problems. They're the kind of shoes I can slip on, walk five miles at the zoo and not worry a out blisters or sore feet. They were hands down worth the price. My Chucks and Speerys hurt after a few hours of wear and cause blisters. I have flats that caused a toe sprain after all-day wear. In the store all of these shoes feel great, but really using them becomes painful. My shoes size is a true 6.5, but I wear a 7 a lot because of my wide feet. I have tried going up to a 7.5, but they're too just too big.</p> <p>Any one else have similar feet/ shoe dilemmas that can recommend a tried and true shoe? </p>
