Recovery for me took almost two full weeks. But I also had a frenulectomy too so that could be why it took so long. Just make sure to stock up on popsicles and avoid all dairy. I saw an ENT doctor several months ago, who said they needed to come out. Now, both my primary doctor and my new ENT doctor said they need to come out. The last time I got it I went to a new doctor and was worried she was going to say they should come out, but to my surprise she said that she would only recommend it as a last resort or I requested it. That really put it into perspective for me that it really is a procedure I do not want. </p> <p>I would get another opinion and try to find out why you keep getting it.
