I had my 2nd prenatal massage last weekend at 37 weeks +4. It was awesome. I am so swollen, and she did an awesome job of pushing the water out of my feet and legs. While it didn't last more than a day, it was amazing for those few hours where I got to feel normal again. I've also been really stressed now that I'm at the end and so uncomfortable, so it was great to really relax for a change. I say go for it!

@c.sassy: I am 36 weeks and just had my second pre natal massage. I had my first at 35 weeks.
Honestly, I think those massages are the only things keeping me from feeling miserable right now! I have been having so much lower back pain and a lot of trouble moving around, and the massages REALLY help. I actually feel quite nimble today!
Also, I have been struggling with high BP since 10 weeks, and after my massages it magically went down!!!
The spas go to a lot of effort to make sure their pregnant clients are comfortable during the massage. I think you will TOTALLY be able to relax.
I think it would REALLY be worth it for you!

Besides, after your baby comes, you're not going to be too anxious to leave him/her to go get a massage. If you wait til after birth, it might be a LONNNGGG time before you use it!

I got massages all throughout my pregnancy. Loved every second of it! They stuffed pillows all around me so I was so super comfy. But it's also nice to get them after the baby comes. It's really my only time that I take out for myself.

For my birthday, DH gave me a gift certificate for a massage which I can use now or after Sneakers comes. I'm 37 weeks now. Should I wait until after she's born? I'm so uncomfortable now that I wouldn't want to waste the massage when I can't relax, you know?
