i know some babies can handle it, but i think 11 months is a little young for one nap. most drop their morning nap at 13 months on the early side. (charlie did at 15 months, olive is still taking 2 at 16 months).

if your lo is taking one monster nap, that might be ok! can you maybe stroller/drive him in the afternoon to get him to take the second nap?

When she moved to the older infant room around 11 months they put them on just one nap per day. Some days she was really tired when she got home but by 13 months she was down to just the one. I think its totally fine!

some days LMW only takes one nap and she's only 6 months old!!! Those are usually the days she sleeps in (til about 8 or 8:30) and has one huge nap (usually 12-3). We are a lot more lax about her sleep than we were with Wagon Jr. though. I transitioned him to one nap at 18 months since he was going into daycare where they were on a one nap schedule, but before then I was driving him around in the car to get him to take a late afternoon catnap!

My daughter only takes one nap, she started at about 10 months. A first she would take a short 20 minute cat nap in the late afternoon but now she solidly only takes one nap. She's 15 months now.

My LO is 11 mos and isn't the best sleeper. He refuses to go down for a second nap, I wonder if that's okay. Anyone else's LO down to one nap earlier than expected?
