J thinks it's hilarious, so I started doing that with a finger brush. He thinks I'm playing a game with him. I moved him up to a real toothbrush and had DH hold him and brush his teeth while I brushed mine and that worked for a while but now, like spoons, he just wants to hold it himself. So I let him hold the real toothbrush and have gone back to the finger brush.
