A lot of prenatals have stool softeners or some sort of digestive aid in them. Before 9 weeks, I had a bad reaction to milk and cut out regular stuff opting for almond milk. I was like that, too. Week 6 or 7 (around the time morning sickness really kicked in) is when I made the switch. now that m/s is gone, the constipation is back.
