One of the boys playing with the toy gun yelled to him, "it's a TOY, you idiot" </p> <p>...I was shocked. All I said was, "it's not nice to call names" and left with B. It KILLED me hearing that and seeing B's face in response. I told him that he was very smart for letting me know and we left. How can a CHILD talk that way? </p> <p>Also, I don't like toy guns. I don't think they need to be at the park. Playing with them in your own home? Fine, I still don't think they are appropriate toys for children but whatever, it's your home. The park is full of play equipment anyway, leave your toys behind!</p> <p>Of course, I'm thinking of all the things I should have said to the parent. I talked to B on the way home and told him he did nothing wrong...should I add anything? I said the boy probably needed a nap and a time out and B agreed, haha. </p>
