@stiffaknee: we also use an old Wubbanub as a lovey. She will hold it for a while. Also baby dolls were a great trade off for food

So LO is probably too young to be super attached to any one toy, but she's a big fan of her blabla mermaid and her wubbanub. She doesn't even suck the pacifier, she just cuddles up to the toy.

I am also interested to know what kind of loveys people have. DD liked a sassy wodden clutch toy before moving on to a small blankie lovey with a puppy head. For LO I can't figure out what to give him. He doesn't like any of the loveys we have and has taken to carrying his A+A blanket around and tripping all over it.

My LO is 18 months old. He has started this thing where he takes food and holds it forever. If something happens to it (the dog eats it or he drops it etc) he is devastated. I think he needs a lovey. He needs something he can hold onto with one hand. At daycare he has a plastic toy chicken drumstick but we don't have anything at home.

Any suggestions?
