She loved crinkle paper that a friend bought off of etsy. The Fisher Price sit me up chair became a big hit around then too. Not long after that she really got into a mini Sophie the giraffe but she got teeth crazy early. We have two of the Lamaze toys, the knot and Mortimer the moose and both were huge hits at that age. Tissue paper was fun both to kick and play with in her hands. I hung a bell and she loved kicking that too.

That piano play mat is awesome though, she still loves it at 6 months!

My son started getting into the fabric books that crackle. They usually have a teething corner and a ring or handle to grasp onto. Something like this:

http://amzn.com/B00913DBPI

He also started to play with a lovey. We have the kind with a stuffed animal head and a blankey for a body. He sleeps with it at night and has started to chew on the ears and corners as he teethes. Like this:

http://amzn.com/B00HGA8S1U

DS also really liked this long floppy stuffed animal to sorta wrestle with as he learned to roll. It has long appendages so maybe it was easy to just grab and play with? It looks like this:

http://amzn.com/B00LV4DS44

DS also liked the FP Seahorse - not as a sleep toy, but just something to light up and play gentle music while he played on his activity mat. Unlike many toys the songs are soothing and not annoying even if you hear them a million times a day.

http://amzn.com/B00P4CEUPA

Over time we just herded all his toys and threw them into the pack n play to create a safe place for him to roll around in since the gym couldn't keep him contained. He also really started liking to play peekaboo by having us cover his face lightly with his muslin blanket and then pop it off real quick.

We also started him in the Jumperoo around 4-ish months because he's super active. We have the Baby Einstein one with the keyboard which lights up and plays music and he loves it. We just attached a bunch of our existing toys on rings to it to make it more interesting.

http://amzn.com/B00JU949AE

We attach this thing to EVERYTHING - so great.

http://amzn.com/B00B0ZMOJ4

He didn't care for the O-Ball but I know a lot of kids really like it.

http://amzn.com/B00188XW26

Another one - this isn't really a toy, but if you like to bake an have some silicone muffin cases, your baby might like them too! DS spends an inordinate amount of time gumming these things... http://www.thecrockltd.co.uk/images/cached/product/zoomed/39611184_1802566138.jpg

Really my LO loves our plastic measuring cups and wooden mixing spoons. Also DH's clean socks. Basically anything she can put in her mouth but those are favorites! Ha.

ETA: also our mirrored closets are worth their weight in gold. Our next olace will have to have a floor mirror!

At that age my kids loved this rolling ball:
http://www.amazon.com/Fisher-Price-Laugh-Learn-Puppys-Crawl-Along/dp/B0091P8K5W

They could bat at it and it would rock back and forth. Plus there was a mirror, which was the best thing ever.

You can get plastic ring links at target for like $5... LO loved them immediately and still loves them at 11 months. Around that age she also really loved her sophie.

DS started to really like playing with this firefly around that age, and still loves it now at 6 months: http://www.amazon.com/Lamaze-Play-Grow-Freddie-Firefly/dp/B000I2Q0F4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1429207162&sr=8-1&keywords=lamaze+firefly

I have a 4.5 mo old and she loves the links!

http://amzn.com/B002L3T9Z6

Great for grabbing and putting in her mouth haha.

I recently just bought her this too for tummy time since she loves looking in the mirror so much. The reflection is a little distorted since it's not a true mirror but she seems to like it.

http://amzn.com/B00KTYXK7W

I also have this that I clip over her changing pad b/c she is starting to get restless there now!

My DD is 14 weeks old and is finally getting really interested in hand held toys. She likes some rattles we have and the Manhattan Winkle toy. She also has the FP Piano activity gym which she just goes crazy for. I'm looking for suggestions of other toys or activity mats/gyms anything really that I can get for her that she would like. I feel like she might get kind of bored on the piano gym multiple times a day.
