We have a basket of some baby toys, some kitchen stuff, silicon muffin liners, empty bottles, etc and DD likes to explore it. My mom got her a miniature activity cube for Easter, which she loves. Non toy items are a huge hit right now: plastic measuring spoons, measuring cups, a wooden spoon, a plastic food jar with a few beans that she can shake and roll. So maybe musical toys, like the B. Parum Pum Pum Drum, or simple blocks that you can stack and she can crash down.
