She's 5 months old now and is starting to like anything that "crinkles" or makes other noises. Are you taking LO to daycare? If so, you can see what toys he plays with there and buy the same for your house. B loved this chair at daycare that had a toy bar attached, so we recently went out and purchased it. To be honest, besides the winkle and sophie he finds his hands to be thrilling! When they are first born they don't need any toys. I'd say around 3 months LO started getting interested in toys. I think must haves would be an activity mat which you can use for tummy time, we have the one with the paino and LO LOVES it! He also loves the winkle and sophie.
