@tinyperson: haha yes, this is exactly what i was thinking! she's not taking her milk, so my ped wanted us to amp up the solids, so i'd like to keep track of how it's going, whether it's helping her take more milk, etc.

@Alivoo01: yea i'm not measuring it or anything, just wanted to keep track of what actual foods she had tried, so i'd know if i suddenly saw a rash or really more if she was having digestive issues, we'd be able to tell whenever she eats ___, she seems to have trouble with her poops. i might be better off just writing down the foods for the day and any reactions in a notebook or something (old school!)

I just made notes on paper - we had to track to a certain extent because of her slow weight gain - our endocrinologist and pediatrician would ask us what she's been eating, so I liked to have a list with approximate amounts. I found paper and pen was much easier than my phone or iPad.

I didn't track it since they say "food before 1 is just for fun". I kind of guaged how much he ate and decided it was a good amount or not, but didn't freak when he didn't take much. His bottles helped compensate.

@Pirouette: You can put in the notes section what she ate.

@Smurfette: @lawbee11: it does, i just have a hard time finding a way to actually input what she ate (as opposed to amount or type of food). i just want a place to be able to say "ate a piece of mango" so that if she has a reaction i can go back. Did you guys just follow the 4 day rule so you didnt have to worry about it? we haven't been following that, and every day i come home and hear what my LO ate that day - i just can't keep my days straight!

Maybe i'm just overthinking this :)

I used baby connect for a long time to track...everything? Now that she's on solids, i'd like to be able to track what she's eating each day, especially since i'm not the one feeding her, so that if she has a reaction, i can go back to the last few days. But i'm not sure baby connect is the place to do this. Is there any app or website that's good for this? maybe i just use one of those diet tracking sites and enter the foods in there?

Does anyone track solids? where do you do so?
