They have pretty good frozen options so I'd just browse there and pick out a few things to put together!

@autumnlove: Let me see if I can rattle some off. :)

In the "meal starter" section, I love the following:

Gnocci
Penne arrabiata (I think)
Mushroom risotto (I add white wine and LOTS of parm)
Polenta (two diff kinds. One is little polenta balls and the other is what you would think of polenta)

I know there are other pasta dishes that are awesome, I just can't think of them. For each one, I bulk them up with TJ's frozen veggies, which I love and think they have great prices. And I add whatever protein I want. Usually it's a chicken breast. And I can get away with using less chicken if I cut it up and add it in rather than cooking separate and having on the side.

I hear good things about their orange chicken and other asian dishes and you can pair with their frozen rice.

I love their pasta sauces and usually add veggies to that as well with some ground beef over pasta.

Cover chicken breasts with their pesto and bake or saute some shrimp and mix in some pesto in the end.

Have leftover chicken? Slice and reheat in a pan with a little pesto or their romano caesar dressing and serve over a salad.

Sometimes we just make some of the Gyoza and eat those for dinner but that's not exactly healthy :)

Some of their flatbreads are straight up delicious. Serve with a salad.

Like Indian? They have some amazing simmer sauces. Chicken and veggies simmered in sauce over their rice.

That's all I got for now. . . ;)

My go to are pre-seasoned meats. We like the Hawaiian style short ribs with rice and veggies. :) You just put them under the boiler for 3 minutes on each side or you can grill them. Yum!

Also the BBQ ribs are good. It's 20-30 minutes baked in the oven I believe. I eat with Texas toast and a salad.

Pork gyoza and steamed green beans.

Baked orange chicken with rice and a vegetable.

Calzones with their pre-made pizza dough and whatever you want inside.

Paninis with proscuitto, spinach, and cheese.

Fresh tortellini with whatever kind of sauce you want (they have a ton of options).

I am not really big on frozen fish or entrees, but these are my TJ's go-to meals.

Their frozen pizzas are pretty good (especially the mushroom flatbread one and the ham/gruyere cheese/caramelized onion one. Neither has a tomato sauce base.

Orange chicken with (frozen) rice

Their tamales are good and you can microwave in a few minutes. Add canned beans.

Sausages with grilled sweet peppers and onions.

Buy whatever meat you want from the meat section and go to the frozen section to the part that I call the meal starters. That's where they have the frozen risottos, pastas, quinoa, etc. My favorite is to cut up a chicken breast and then add a package of the mushroom fettuccine. I also add whatever veggies I want. Our usuals are broccoli, mushrooms, spinach, etc. Most of those can be found in the frozen section.

But I could probably post a million dinner options from TJ's.

They have really good pre-seasoned meats and fish. I recently got salmon fillets that were delicious. They also have really tasty washed and seasoned brussel sprouts.

I have to stop by Trader Joe's tonight. I also need to make dinner and have not defrosted anything. What can I buy there that I can have on my table, ready for my family, in less than an hour?

Restrictions: no tomatoes, no tree nuts.

:)
