@gingerbebe: thank you so much for your input. I was thinking about switching to Dr. Brown's. I will get a bottle this weekend, and add gas drops. I probably am drinking more coffee. I will have to watch that.

We had to change from Avent bottles - the flow was still too fast. We went with Dr. Brown's bottles after trial and error. I would also try adding some gas drops to the bottles to see if that helps. Finally, are you drinking more coffee or eating more chocolate now that you are back to work? My son had reflux and those were huge irritants for him in breast milk.

I started back to work last week after a 3 month mat leave. LO is EBF, and is now taking bottles of pumped milk during the day while I am at work. We use avent natural with zero flow nipple. She is with family at our house while I am at work, and is being well cared for. I BF before I leave, when I get home and the rest of the night, and BF during the weekends.

She was never a crying/fussy baby, until I started back to work. Now she has started going through crying/yelling spells during the day. These instances are almost colic like, where she will go from calm to screaming, and scream for 30 minutes straight. I cant figure out if it is the transition to more bottles, increased gas from the bottles, missing me, or a combo. We are on week 2 of this. I feel terrible thinking that she is stressed out, and I get stressed out at work worrying about her. Also, she is completely fine on the weekends when she is with me.

Has anyone experienced this? Any advice? Are we doing something wrong? Please tell me that it gets better.
