He stop breastfeeding around 9 months so he was on formula until he was 1. We were going to transition him slowly by mixing in the cow's milk with formula. But the formula he was on was similac and it was around the time when they discovered bugs in some of their batches. We had some of that affected powder so we just had him quit cold turkey. We switched to cows milk and to a cold temperature at the same time. So it would be 1 oz cold milk/5oz warm formula. We would do that for 3 days. Then 2 oz cold milk/4 oz warm formula and then on and on until it was fully cows milk and all cold. I do remember adding increasing amounts of milk with his formula until he was drinking all cow's milk. (where does the time go?!) I'm going to start transitioning her to cow's milk after. Can some mommies share your stories about how you weaned your baby off formula/breastmilk? What did you learn? Any tips? I don't even know where or how to start </p>
