Ours are from rooms to go. They were relatively cheap but good quality. Didn't want to spend a ton when we have LO's.

@Foodnerd81: My Boston Interiors couch is very plush and comfy! Compared to the Macys one, it's much softer. (Though that may also be because its 5 years older and a lot better broken in. But we were good about rotating the cushions every 6 months, so with just me usually in the same spot, each cushion really only got about 1 year of use).

@PurplePumps: I just got the Boston Interiors catalog and really like a bunch of their couches. Never sat in one to feel how comfortable though.

We have ugly but comfortable recliners from bobs discount furniture. Sadly they are coming to the new house with us since we want to save up a little after moving before buying new ones.

@mediagirl: this is sort of a dumb question but what is a "transitional sofa"? I keep seeing transitional on all the home blogs but still confused. Like, not traditional but not modern, somewhere in between? But there's also "transitional paint colors" which seems to be good colors to transition between rooms in an open layout? Either way I like that sofa a lot!

My mom has pretty chairs that recline but aren't super comfy.

I love my lay z boy but it's ugly. I think they have nicer looking stuff too

I've seen some things I love at Ashley Furniture, but I haven't been able to commit yet. I have couch paralysis because this is going to be MY COUCH for the next ten years and I don't want to hate it.

We moved recently and I get to buy new furniture for our family room! I am thinking of a transitional sofa with 2 side chairs. I want the chairs to recline but want them to look nice, too. Pics are an example of what I'm thinking about.

Do you have a sofa/chairs like this? Where did you get them from? Where have you seen furniture you love? Thankfully we live in an area with a million and one furniture stores so we can go try things out when we're ready.
