T started fighting the afternoon nap like crazy around 13 months. I kept trying until 14 months and now am attempting one nap but its not going well which is a little surprising since he's fairly flexible sleep wise.

She dropped earlier than most around 10.5 months. LO pushed her last nap back later and later too and was having trouble falling asleep. She also just decided one day she didn't want a second nap. I just rearranged it so that she was taking a nap around 12:30/1 after lunch. Today she slept 12:45-3:45 (she just woke up). She adjusted really well, although I know she's still cranky sometimes. She sleeps 7:30pm-8am or so usually. I know her awake times are long but she's usually fine with it and won't go down if I try.

It got to the point where it was more exhausting to try to get two naps out of her than to just have her awake so I gave in.

LO didn't start to fight his afternoon nap until closer to a year. One thing you could try is shortening the morning nap to help your LO get tired enough for an afternoon nap. We did that for awhile before transitioning fully.

Anybody have any advice or tips on transitioning down to one nap?

Miss A is nine months old and her second nap is getting later and later each day resulting in a later bedtime and mondo crankiness in the evening.

We used to have a nice schedule of 7am wakeup, 10-12 nap, 3-4pm nap and 730ish bedtime but lately nap two hasn't been happening till 430ish which means a 10pm bedtime!

I know nine months is on the early side for a single nap but this late bedtime is killing both me and my sanity so any advice would be much appreciated!
