@LittleFox: Do you swaddle? For us, that made the difference. Right now I'm a little annoyed that DH didn't swaddle her tight enough after her 3:00 feeding, so she woke herself up at 5:30. I fed her an ounce, reswaddled her and she was out cold. If he'd swaddled her tighter, I'd probably still be asleep.

That's great! Our little guy has been sleeping for longer stretches in the pack n play (we have that instead of a crib), but still gets up at night to feed. We're also in a 1 bedroom apartment, so his pack n play is right next to the bed. I hope we can get him sleeping in it even longer soon.

@FutureMrsMcK: At some point in the next year we want to move to a 2 bedroom so that she has her own room. I imagine that's when the hard transition will be! Tears may happen for all of us than.

So exciting, way to go A!

We had a much harder transition, but we also went from co-bedding to a crib in his own room, and he was 5.5 months. There were a lot of tears...and Evan cried some too ;)

@apis: Her crib is in our room, so that made it easier!

awesome! LO still co-beds at night but naps in her crib. I think soon I'm going to put her down in there, and then take her into bed after midnight (which is when she wakes every 2 hours). so much easier on me for nursing that way, haha!

That's great! With A, we had to transition because her harness meant she wouldn't fit in the moses basket anymore, but luckily for us she LOVED her crib. So happy!

I think that DW was more worried about the transition from the bassinet beside our bed to the crib in his nursery than our LO was!

That is exciting! Our transition was much harder but we also waited much longer than we had planned (5.5 months). Hopefully she'll keep sleeping great in her crib!

LO just slept 5 hours straight in her crib!

She always night sleeps in the rock'n'play next to the bed, so this is huge!!! She's 8 weeks old tomorrow, but I think she's transitioned. If she's having a rough night, I'm sure we'll use the r'n'p, but hopefully she'll sleep in her crib from now on!!!

Sorry, had to share. I was worried about what the transition would look like when it had to happen.
