Thanks for the feedback. It may be good just to have. This trip is only for 2 nights, so I don't think I'll need the double electric. We're trying to pack as light as possible. Will look at the Medela Harmony, as I use one of their double electrics which works great for me. Thanks again!

I bought the Lansinoh manual pump for that exact reason. It's worked great in a pinch.

I have the manual Lansinoh and really like it. It's only $25 on amazon so well worth it! I used it to travel when LO was 3 weeks old.

I also have the Medela Harmony which I used a couple times (inexpensive and works well) but when LO was that young I just pack my double electric in my luggage. It was worth it to me to just take it and not deal with a manual pump while I was away, but it also depends on how many times you forsee using it, if you know what I mean.

I mainly breastfeed but usually pump a little each morning. I have the Medela Harmony and I think it's great. It's super easy to take with me and it works really well when I end up pumping multiple times a day.

My husband, will be 3-month-old, and I will be taking a 1-hr plane ride next month to visit DH's family. One thing I'm wondering: I use my double electric pump about once every other day or so, so I'd like to have it with me, but don't want to haul it on a plane. I'd also like to have it just in case he sleeps longer than I'm used to and I get really uncomfortable. And maybe while we're there, someone else could feed him so we could go out...

Did you buy a less expensive single manual pump? If so, which one, and was it worth the expense? Is it easy to transport? Thanks!
