If you're planning on feeding formula during the flight, bring more than you think you will need. And personally I don't like to board the plane until the last boarding call, which gives me time to relax and try to get LO to fall asleep. The breastmilk cooler should be pulled out of your bag and they just run a strip of paper around the edge and test that, quick and easy. I brought my boppy on the plane and it was life saver. We just hooked it over our carry on suitcase while we were walking around the airport. We will be taking a 2-ish hour flight, and staying with family for three nights. I know I've heard that it's easier to travel with a non-mobile baby than one who can move around more, but having done neither, this is feeling pretty daunting! </p> <p>I've heard: be ready to nurse as the plane takes off and lands. Bring a change of clothes on the plane not just for baby, but also for me. Leave extra time at the airport for security. Print out a copy of the TSA guidelines on security/breastmilk, just in case. </p> <p>What other tips can you give me to make it go as smoothly as possible? </p>
