Brought a few toys and books, and put the mattress on the floor so LO can sleep on it. I try to travel light whenever we travel with her. This is our first time traveling with a toddler. Our hotel room has a full kitchen, so LO is currently playing with the metal pots. Yikes! We were hoping to borrow a pack n play because DH has cousins with kids there, but so far nobody has gotten back to us so we might just ship ours there. I don't think LO would sleep well at all if we coslept. We got her a seat on the plane so we're going to buy a cheap, light weight car seat. For the first few months, Baby Y slept in his Fisher Price Rock n Play (which is where he slept at home until 11 or 12 weeks, too). After that, we invested in the Baby Bjorn travel crib. It's a bit $$$ but it is a dream to set up and take down.</p> <p>Other travel must-haves for us were the car seat stroller frame (first 6 mos) or a lightweight umbrella stroller after that time period (we have the Maclaren Quest).
