I flew regularly up until 20 weeks (few cross country trips), it was the same for me as when not pregnant, definitely bring snacks, and try to secure an aisle seat if you can!
@MaisyMay: there are limitations on pregnant women cruising? I don't think I knew that!

I travelled on a 3 hr flight at 7 weeks and then to Vegas at 11 weeks. It wasnt too bad at that point. DH and I were going to go on a holiday when I was 28 weeks but I decided I didnt feel up to it. I didnt want our holiday to be me complaining the entire time!

I never had to travel while pregnant, other than a 4 hour car ride a couple of times.

Hope you have a good trip!

I flew around the same time frame and did ok. Granted it was a much shorter flight, but I found staff to be very helpful and nice. Other passengers, well that's another story. I was able to get aisle seats for both trips after speaking with the rep at the gate. You will need to get up and move around and/or use the ladies room frequently and I was worried about other passengers. The airlines were good in accomodating.

My flight to where I was going was ok as it was in the morning, which is when I have most of my energy and before my swelling gets really bad. The way home left me absolutely exhausted and it was tough - I won't lie. Pack snacks, make sure you eat and drink lots and lots of water. Also rest as much as you can. Good luck!

I flew 4 or 5 times until 32 weeks. I was supposed to fly to Las Vegas at 34 weeks but I got out of that trip, it was just too far. The other trips went great. The people I was working for/with were helpful and understood when I needed a break or a drink or food. I say go for it. Be sure to get up every hour to walk around if you're on a long flight, though.

I went to New Zealand from weeks 10-14. But I was a lucky duck who didn't have morning sickness or anything. The only big concern was keeping hydrated to reduce swelling. Compression socks helped.

I also flew cross-country at the end of the second tri ... it wasn't a big deal, other than the ache of being stuffed into a tiny coach seat!

We're talking about taking a cruise in either July or the earliest part of September. I'll be either 15 weeks or 24 weeks (latest I can cruise while pregnant).

I flew in the first and second trimesters and was super, super sick both times. I don't know why, but the motion of the plane (especially landing) made me reallllllllllllllly sick. :/ never been sick on a plane before, or had any trouble at all flying before (and fly often). Hope flying goes better for you!!

I traveled at 8 weeks with an hour turned 6 hours layover and it was exhausting.

If you can standby for a direct flight, I'd recommend it.
Make sure you bring plenty of light snacks, stay hydrated...buy water past security, and nap on the plane.

If you have any ms, bring some ziplock baggies in case you have to puke and can't make it to the bathroom

Give yourself a little extra time so you're not rushing.
I traveled at 8 weeks (with DH and LO). It was a direct 2 hour flight. So exhausting..
I traveled when I was pregnant the first time at 20 weeks. It was a cinch!
