We travel with our regular stroller (a Britax B-Ready). I would never bring our double BOB on a plane. We did get the wheels broken on a Britax one flight, and it sucked but there wasn't much we could have done to prevent it. I would say the biggest thing you want is good undercarriage storage (I love not having to carry my carry ons!) and something you are comfortable closing. Since it is the airport and many of the stalls are made for luggage a double still fits in many places it wouldn't normally fit.

Haven't flown with it yet, but I think our combi twin would be good. It folds up pretty small, stands upright on its own, and can also be rolled behind/beside you very easily. Very durable too. Its my eveyday stroller and it's taken a beating over the last year and is still in great shape.

What's a good double to travel with? Did you have a different one you traveled with than your regularly used?
