I wanted to be able to control his riding (we have lots of hills) and he didn't really learn to pedal well until he was 3. I think there is a baby one and a kid one. If you get it, I would take LO or at least measure her head so that when you go you know which one to get.<br /> Ours was on the cusp between infant and kid (he was also 2) so we went with the slightly bigger one knowing he would grow more into it. It's adjustable but it was still a smidge bug but acceptable. 2.5 now and it's already a lot better. </p> <p>We do make him wear it every single time he wants to get on his bike or scooter. It's true that he prob wouldn't get hurt too badly since he's so low to the ground. It's the Joovy helmet, small and lightweight.
