There are very few places I have been to multiple times unless I have family there. DH has been everywhere though (he's been to many countries on every continent), so it is hard to find places that are new to him.</p> <p>As for pleasant surprises, we went to Miami last year and it was my first time. But, when baby gets here I can see being a little less adventurous for a couple of years since travelling with a baby will be new enough, so it might be comforting to go someplace that we are familiar with. Have you been wonderfully surprised by a place you were initially lukewarm about visiting? </p> <p>I have visited pretty much every state or city I'd like to. DH is not a fan of international travel, so our vacations pretty much need to be close to home. I'd like to visit Napa and CO again, but this time with DH. I kind of feel like I should pick some place entirely new for both of us. The one place I would really like to visit is Canyon Ranch in AZ, but DH is not a fan of the resort's activities. </p>
