@CatchAFallingStar: The trigger sucks. I spent more time comparing tests than I care to admit.

I am really hoping this is it for you though :goodluck: Hang in there over the next few days!

@mrskansas: how frustrating. Thanks for your honesty. I don't know why I thought testing it out would be a good idea!

@CatchAFallingStar: Mine did the same thing. They would appear to be getting lighter and then get darker.

Assuming you are only 7/8 DPO it can't be anything else yet, unfortunately.

So, I'm 9 days last trigger today. These are 7dpt, 8dpt, today's FMU and the bottom is later today, which appears to be darker. Thoughts?

I think they say a day for each 1,000 so 10dpo it would be out. Mine never fully faded out before it started getting darker at 9 or 10 dpo.

I just did a trigger with my iui in march and my trigger never faded before my BFP. Here's the progression photo. The lightest one in the middle I would say was 9 dpo in the afternoon. The last one is when I went in for a blood test because I saw they were getting darker.

I've had a trigger shot the past 3 months and it is miserable testing it out. I would highly recommend just waiting until 14 DPO or for a beta because like bhbee said, it can be negative one day and then positive the next and still be the trigger.
Hopefully the rest of the TWW goes by quickly for you :goodluck:

I don't have photos but I think I still had some at 10dpo. I don't think it fades in a linear fashion and even if one looks negative, the next could still be trigger because they're not that precise. So it's basically a waiting game.

It's a long wait! Fx!

Hi ladies. The last cycle I had an HCG trigger was April, 2014 (when I got pregnant with DD). So, I'm a little rusty. Also, I didn't test out the trigger that time and I had weekend of anxiety after testing positive 10DPO and not knowing if it was the trigger or BFP. It was BFP. Anyway, I am testing it out this time and am 6DPO today. The tests (wondfo) between Saturday and today really don't look much different from one another. So, it must be taking a long time to metabolize this time around. Anyone have photo document of testing out your trigger? I would love to see. Mine was 10,000 units. TIA!
