Did you loosen before latching it, then pull as hard as you could on the strap labelled 1, and the as hard as you can on the strap labelled 2? Then, last month, it took my dad and me twenty minutes to get it into his Camry. It seemed to be an issue with tightening the latches too much on one side. We figured it out but it was definitely frustrating! That said, it was the one and only time I had trouble. I had no problem with most of them, but when trying to install in an Acura RDX I could not get it tight. It fit fine rearfacing, but was so loose. </p> <p>Anyone else encounter this? Trying to figure out if it just doesn't fit, or I was doing something wrong? It was pulled as tight as I could. It's one of our top choices for cars, but not if I can't install the car seat with LATCH. </p>
