I have GREAT news! After 1 ER visit, 2 scans & several labs (encluding HIV & Hepatitis, believe me I was freaking out when she mentioned this) and 21 days later we have a diagnosis! I have a improper functioning gallbladder. Which means I can get it taken out & have 98% chance of complete releif! I'm getting it taken out December 7th, which means next cycle we can resume TTC!

Yuck, that sucks to be in limbo for so long! I hope you feel better soon. Try not to worry! (worrying always magnifies my symptoms) (yes, I know that's impossible advice to follow)

Wow folks this last week has been a MESS! All my test have come back normal! They did and ultra sound on my liver, gallbladder, kidneys, spleen, and pancreas=NORMAL. All my blood work was NORMAL. I keep having problems! I had another spasm yesterday so I went back to the doctor today. Upon physical exam AGAIN she said the area that was sensitive is where my liver is located.
I am going in for the radioactive dye/live xray thing Monday to see if my gallbladder is functioning properly. I asked her what about my liver, she said that the test should show liver function as well. She also mentioned doing a hepatitis screening...

I'm trying my best to be positive & not stress about this. So far everything has come back normal, which good. Its been 3 weeks now of testing & no answers as to what is causing these pains. I have a hard time not being in control and right now I have no control and I am scared out of my F-ing mind!

Thanks ladies! I am feel a little better about things and the pain is finally starting to calm down. I kind of hope they decided to just take it out. I suppose that goes for any type of ailment. I had irregular paps for a few years with abnormal cells that gave me a 50/50 chance of cervical cancer & I was a wreak during that. I had to have check ups every 3 months. The Dr. and I had become very casual about the whole experience. "I saw you at church this weekend. Father had a good sermon."
On top of this AF showed her ugly face today & she is ANGRY! Women problems, I tell ya lol

@Sugar.Biscuit: glad the test results came back normal for the liver and pancreas! That's a big weight off. I have known a couple people who have had to have their gall bladder removed and live perfectly normal lives. Hopefully it won't come to that for you but even in that worse case scenario your prognosis should be good. Rest up and take care of yourself this weekend and try not to stress until you get more answers.

I had to have my gallbladder out a couple of years ago. It was quite the process because all of my tests were normal. There was some dilation of the bile ducts on ultrasound, but not enough to get excited about. Once they took the gallbladder out, they said it was full of scar tissue! So, just be persistent if they tell you they can't find anything wrong. Hope you get some relief soon!

I'm really happy to hear the liver and pancreas are looking good! It's always so scary when there's potentially a medical issue and you don't know what it is, but I'm glad the news is good and I hope the gallbladder issues sort themselves out!

Just got a call from the Dr. She put a rush in my labs and they came back normal for my liver and pancreous!!! This has dropped my stress level dramatically! Now we are focusing on my gallbladder. I feel pretty confidant that all will be we'll over the weekend. I have only had 3-4 attacks over the last week or two so as long as I follow the diet I think I should be okay for a while.

Thank you for all the good thoughts and healthy vibes!

I'm sorry you have to go through this! If it makes you feel better, I think we all freak out and think we're going to die of an undiagnosed medical condition at some point (or maybe not everyone, but I have done it!). That's not to say that there's nothing wrong, but the odds are in your favor and I'm glad there are good doctors tending to you! I'll pray for you and I hope you're able to relax in the meantime--that's probably the best thing you can do.

Last Sunday I was in the ER for 5 hours with a possible gallbladder attack. They told me to take Tylenol for pain and to follow up with my regular physician. I saw my Dr. Today and she seemed worried. Wanted me in for an ultrasound today but I had already eaten so we scheduled one for Monday morning. Then upon examination, while she was pressing on my upper right abdomen, I jumped. She was surprised, I looked at her and said that's not normal is it, she said no. She said that she was concerned because that was just to the left of the gallbladder, which is where the pancreous and liver are located. So she drew up an order for blood work for that as well. It is concerning to me because earlier this year I had elevated liver enzymes, and there was no follow up or concern for it at the time.

I'm trying not to freak myself out but I've had an erry feeling for a while that something more major has been going on. I told DH two weeks ago before this all started that I was afraid I would die from a stroke, heart attack or something like cancer. I figured it would be something to so with my baby maker not my liver, pancreous or gallbladder!

I have to be on a low-no fat diet until the tests are done and we have some answers. She said a fruits and vegetable diet would be best.

Has anyone else been through something like this and how did it turn out for you and how did you deal with it?
