But my situation is a bit different because I am still nursing DD 2x/day. Pre-baby my cycles were extremely regular - I would O on CD17-18 and had a 14-day LP. My last two cycles - during both of which I geared up to O, didn't, and then geared up again successfully - I first O'ed on CD 29 and had a 10-day LP, and then the second cycle I O'ed on CD 22 and had a 13-day LP. The month we conceived my body geared up to ovulate, but my temp never rose so we kept trying....a week later I got ewcm again, and this time my temp went up. Likely what happened is that your body tried to O the first time, and didn't for some reason, so its trying again. And of course right before we start actively TTC. </p> <p>So after I had the "dry" day, my temp jumped then went way back down again, coupled with watery (close to EWCM) and then EWCM today with temp staying on the lower side. </p> <p>Is my body trying to ovulate again? If we DTD around the first time (which we did and resulted in the dryness) would that have been all for nothing? We're technically not TTC (DH wants a winter babe, or at least try for one) but if this happens again I guess we would just keep BDing and hope for the best? </p> <p>Maybe I'll try an OPK tonight and see what it says... </p>
