We got pregnant the first month of trying with LO #1 and it took me 5 months to get pregnant again only to miscarry at 7 weeks (I'm now in the cycle after miscarriage). I have felt that my hormone levels were off so I went in for some testing and I did have some levels that were a bit off. I'm hoping that the miscarriage will be a bit of a re-set button for me but who knows.</p> <p>I had long since quite breastfeeding before trying to conceive #2 but I agree with the others. I think breastfeeding can cause elevated levels of prolactin, which can make trying to conceive difficult. Have you had normal cycles since your first was born and then just suddenly started having strange cycles? How are you confirming ovulation? I thought I had a mini AF, but it wasn't. Last month went a week late and now this month AF arrived a week early, Cycle day 22!!!<br /> I was approx 7 or 8 dpo and thought maybe implantation but the cramps are very painful, sharp &amp; constant with medium bleeding and this is going on day 2. I normally only have AF cramps right before it starts and then they'll go away. This is so not normal for me!!! What could this be?!</p> <p>Should I be concerned about this? This AF almost feels like what my PP bleeding felt like it honestly doesn't feel like a normal AF.<br /> So confused!!!! Any advice?<br /> I am still bf-ing my 2 yr. old, could that effect fertility?! </p>
