I think when I was doing IVF they gave me Valium for the embryo transfer (because they knew it would get weird with my cervix), so it can't be the worst. Good luck!

So i just finished my first cycle of being off the pill and my cycle extended from the usual 28 days (on the pill) to 32 days. This pushed my O date a few days which wouldn't be a problem except for one thing. I'm getting my wisdom teeth out on the 18th of this month (scheduled it to be before ttc due to the valium/being knocked out for it but now that my cycle changed a bit the few days after the wisdom teeth removal is prime BD time. I know you can't take valium while pregnant but will there be any risks if i take it a few days before conceiving? the internet of course gives a million different answers and when i asked my IRL friends that are nurses how long it stays in your system they both said 4-8 hours, but i think thats just the effects of the drug, because i've heard it shows up in your urine for weeks. Am i just being paranoid? it would just be 2 pills (one the night before surgery and one the next morning an hour before) and we would plan on BD'ing 3 days later... any thoughts?

Are any of you doctors or nurses?

Thanks!
