I believe Benadryl is also OK, and/or Unisom and they both helped my migraines that I got before pregnancy. Double check, though. Strangely, I stopped getting regular headaches and migraines in pregnancy. It usually at least takes the edge off for me, especially since I get a lot of tension there.</p> <p>Other than that, I'm hoping someone has useful info, since I've gotten a couple of really bad headaches recently and don't want to take much in the way of drugs. My migraines are slightly better but I still get headaches a few times a week, so in an effort to avoid caffeine I've been trying to wean myself off Excedrin Tension Headache. Especially since I don't want to be on so much caffeine if/when we do IVF! Sometimes I think the caffeine might be causing rebound headaches.</p> <p>Is there anything stronger than Tylenol but not an NSAID and not containing caffeine that works and is safe during this time? </p>
