@QBbride: I set up a box to see if I could get it shipped there but I was too slow. I live in BC, you?
@autumnlove: I missed the part of the toddler part. We have a ways go to before she's in a toddler I think. However, if I was to buy one now, I would probably go for the toddler as it would last longer?

@autumnlove: LO was about 24lbs. (not sure on height, maybe 32"?) when we started using the toddler tula. We didn't have one before then, so it wasn't like I was waiting for her to fit a certain height/weight. She definitely has *plenty* of room to grow into the toddler tula! :silly: haha, it's very comfy though, for both of us.

I did a ton of research on carriers and I settled on the Tula. I've been using it since LO was about 6 weeks old (with the infant insert) and I'm still using it at 8 months. I hope to continue using it for as long as possible. I have the solid gray one since I wanted something neutral :)

@autumnlove: my daughter is 16 months and about 22 pounds and I find it really comfy. I've been using this carrier since she was about 5 monthe old

@jetsa: that's great! i am definitely still intrigued to try it after all i have heard. and even if it similar to the ergo, that is not necessarily a bad thing as i love my ergo and i want a toddler size carrier hence why i might go ahead and get it anyway.

I saw her right after she got it and she told me she had the same initial reaction as me, but we haven't talked about it since so maybe she is happier with it now. She is on HB so will perhaps see this thread!

@californiadreams: they are totally different. They fit differently and the tula is so much more comfortable. We got the tula bc I felt our son had outgrown the ergo, my DH was skeptical to say the least. He completely agrees with the purchase now and we just purchased a toddler tula. It distributes the weight differently and has more padding. Ask you friend to try hers on and make sure you get a good seat and that you completely adjust the PFA's because otherwise baby can lean and it will not be comfortable. Also it's super easy to adjust DH and I have no problem sharing it

i have heard so much about the tula and then my friend got one, i saw it and i didn't feel it looked or felt much different than an ergo. Can someone compare them?

And while I love my ergo sport, i wanted a toddler sized carried so have been considering the toddler tula for a long time. I want DH to use it too though so I am wondering how easy it is to adjust the straps? with the becco gemini it is a breeze to share with DH because the straps adjust so easily.

@autumnlove: 32 inches tall - my daughter was 32.5 inches at her doc appointment when we started using a toddler Tula and she just barely fit properly. A standard Kinderpack would be another great option (we have one of those too) as it is supposed to fit from about 8 months to 3 years. They are harder to find though (have to buy during a stocking or secondhand).

@autumnlove: I think they suggest your kiddo being in 2T pants length-wise to fit a toddler. My LO is 18 months, 22 lbs (he's pretty tiny) and I don't think he's anywhere close to a toddler yet!!

I bought a Tula after I felt like my toddler LO outgrew her Becco. I like it alot. She's small for her age, so I got the regular one, but there is a extender for bigger toddlers. It's very easy to put on especially the front carry.
