My breech baby never turned but I wasn't very aggressive about encouraging her too. I heard good things about acupuncture for turning babies though...

My baby was still breech at week 38 but moved to the correct position a week later. I hope your transverse baby moves soon!

My sister also did some trick where, while on all 4s with her butt in the air, she tied an ice pack to the top of her belly and a heating back to the bottom, to encourage him to move his head towards the warm (though he was completely breech). I think she did a bunch of other yogi things too, but it did work, he was head down for delivery. She ended up needing a c-section anyway, though, for other reasons.

Has anyone's baby been in the transverse position (sideways) and moved to the vertex (head down) position in time?

My babe is transverse and I'm 33 weeks. I'm told she really should be head down by 34 weeks, so I'm freaking out. Unlike a breach baby, where technically she still could be delivered vaginally (although I know most are not), there is no coming out the old fashioned way with a transverse baby. She is turning often, but mostly from transverse in one direction (head on the right) to transverse in the other (head on left). I"m getting seriously dejected. Am trying the Chiropractor Webster method next week and spend time with my but in the air in the evenings, but throughout the day, she still goes sideways. :(
